Healing Rays (1932) [Paperback]
Healing Rays by George Jeffreys' is a superb book on biblical healing - in Jesus' Mighty Name which was written in 1932 - when the author had been in Christian ministry for 17 years and had seen tens of thousands of conversions and thousands of healings in his Revival and Healing Campaigns across Britain.
The book is split into 12 chapters over 210 pages and covers nearly everything you may need to know about Christian healing in the name of Jesus Christ. The why, how to, why sickness, what can we do, medicine, attitude, spiritual state etc. and why not everyone gets healed including Christian suffering.
Jeffreys covers the subject of healing from a Scriptural perspective and writes with authority having seen the blind see, the death hear, the dumb hear, cancers shrivel up, the lame to dance etc. etc. and filled halls across the country week in week out.
The author also quotes from quite a few other sources proving that God's power in healing through his surrendered servants has never ceased.
There is a great chapter which is a question and answer chapter full of Scriptural and logical responses. The author also quotes from men such as John Wesley, George Fox, Evan Roberts and other revivalists as well as missionary statesmen such as A. B. Simpson and others who were healed.

Stephen Jeffreys was a great British evangelist and older brother to the eloquent George Jeffreys. Converted during the Welsh Revival, Stephen began his ministry at Cwmtwrch near Swansea. A further visit in December extended to a seven-week mission reaping 130 converts from the small village. Thus began a dramatic ministry as a full-time itinerant evangelist which reaped thousands of souls and was confirmed by signs and wonders wherever he went.
Scores of young men caught the heavenly breeze and began to pioneer new works for God during this time of visitation. Outstanding miracles of healing occurred and a constant flow of converts were won to Christ. "One of the most far-reaching effects of his ministry was the way he seemed to trigger off so many others to follow suit, and the whole character of the British Pentecostal Movement changed." The Foursquare Gospel- Jesus as Saviour, Healer, Baptizer in the Holy Spirit and soon Coming King.
George Jeffreys established an Evangelistic Band and they travelled around the world. People came to Christ, were healed and baptized in the Spirit. George started to refer to this as the Foursquare Gospel- Jesus as Saviour, Healer, Baptizer in the Holy Spirit and soon Coming King.
